We sang this song this morning at church and I just couldn't help but think that I hold back from running to the Lord. I do not run into His arms. He is waiting to bestow on me the riches of His incomparable love. And I hold back for whatever unknown reason. My new goal is to spend more time focusing on Christ and running to Him.

It is good that you recognize your weakness.
That keeps you looking to me, your Strength.
Abundant life is not necessarily health and wealth;
it is living in continual dependence on Me.
Instead of trying to fit this day into a preconceived mold,
relax and be on the lookout for what I am doing.
This mid-set will free you to enjoy Me
And to find what I have planned for you to do.
This is far better than trying to make things go
according to your own plan.

Don't take yourself so seriously. Lighten up and laugh with Me.
You have Me on your side, so what you are you worried about?
I can equip you to do absolutely anything, as long as it is My will.
The more difficult your day, the more I yearn to help you.
Anxiety wraps you up in yourself, trapping you in your thoughts.
When you look to me and whisper My Name,
you break free and receive My help.

In other news

Just a few quick updates:

• I got my tax return back in less than a week!
• I have already spent some of it on these (see below) Mine aren't quite this, um..colorful. Mine are gray, cream and orange.
• 
• My college roommates are coming to visit! Two of my best friends from college are coming into town the last weekend in March. I couldn't be more excited about spending time with these ladies!
• I'm going to Biltmore this weekend with Jonathan and we are staying at a Marriott Autograph hotel. It is REALLY nice and I am so excited. It was just such a great deal! Almost 60+% off!
• My blood pressure has been really high and when I went to the doctor this morning, it was really low! And I've lost two pounds in the last two weeks!
• I've exercised each of the last three days! 
• I miss my family. Gabe sent me a pic of Baxter today and I was so glad to get it. I really miss being able to see those babies! 
• And since I am a Grandma and go to bed early - I'm going to "hit the sheets"!
